I welcomed my first little preschool class back in 2006 and haven't looked back. I received a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Utah.  Before starting my own preschool, I taught kindergarten and 2nd grade.  

I truly love teaching preschoolers. They are full of life, have lots of love to give and are excited to learn. Teaching preschool is never a job, it is something I love to do.

I believe in active, hands-on learning. My classroom is a place where students explore concepts in several different ways. Students are more likely to remember concepts when they are taught through fun, memorable experiences. When children get these experiences confidence is gained which sets them on a strong path to life-long learning. Preschool should be an enjoyable experience where children are excited about transitioning into elementary school.

When I am not in the classroom you will usually find me traveling with my family, running, hiking, boating, skiing or going to the local Cross Fit box. I love living in Colorado and I am excited to continue to serve the city of Timnath.

Lead Teacher

My name is Christina and I am excited to continue to teach at The Ranch Preschool.  I grew up in the state of Maryland and received my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from the University of Maryland. After graduation I relocated to North Carolina where I taught first grade for four years and fifth grade for one year

My family moved to Timnath Ranch in 2010 when my husband received military orders to work in Cheyenne, WY. We fell in love with Northern Colorado and the small town feel of Timnath so much we decided to make this our permanent home. In my free time I enjoy exploring the outdoors and all that Colorado has to offer with my family.
After taking some time off from teaching to stay home with my own kids, I am very excited to get back into the classroom. I have always had a passion for teaching and I am grateful for the opportunity to do what I love in our wonderful community.
